AisleSide, I’m going to miss you. It feels like just yesterday I was first mousing over your links, clicking through to your individual shirt pages, scrolling down your menus. From the first time I placed an order to my last, everything seemed so right. It was as if we were meant to be together – together forever. But I guess it was all too good to be true. I mean, nothing lasts forever, right? Anyway, it was with a smile that I began to read your Newsletter #12.
“Hey everyone!” you said. I knew you were actually addressing just me. But then things took a turn for the worse: “Good news & bad news….” Bad news! What could it be? I was shocked to learn: “aisleside.com will be closing once inventory is sold out.” No new designs? Nothing to look forward to? Another bookmark resigned forever to a bitter place in my heart? I knew you wouldn’t end it like this – not like this.
Through my tear-blurred vision, I could make out a few more words… “all shirts are just $5… buy 4 or more shirts and get one free… coupon code 2007…” Then I could bear to look no more. I tore away my eyes; the pain was just too great! At least I will still have the memories, still have the joy, still have the shirt. “Snailien Invasion” will forever fill a soft spot in my wounded heart. AisleSide, I will never forget you.

omg, just five bucks!? they really want to clean up the inventory, what’s their next plan?
AisleSide will sadly close shop once they run out of inventory, because Charles is getting his MBA. I don’t know what Aaron and Chris are going to be doing next.
Now this blog post was a page-turner! Or, a mouse scroller? Down-button pusher? Anyway, kudos. Woooo! Blognanza!
Thanks for the kudos/compliments, Colin. And I love your website; I use it frequently.
