AisleSide Closing Shop

AisleSide, I’m going to miss you. It feels like just yesterday I was first mousing over your links, clicking through to your individual shirt pages, scrolling down your menus. From the first time I placed an order to my last, everything seemed so right. It was as if we were meant to be together – together forever. But I guess it was all too good to be true. I mean, nothing lasts forever, right? Anyway, it was with a smile that I began to read your Newsletter #12.

“Hey everyone!” you said. I knew you were actually addressing just me. But then things took a turn for the worse: “Good news & bad news….” Bad news! What could it be? I was shocked to learn: “aisleside.com will be closing once inventory is sold out.” No new designs? Nothing to look forward to? Another bookmark resigned forever to a bitter place in my heart? I knew you wouldn’t end it like this – not like this.

Yanobe Kenji Doesn’t Have Much to Do with T-Shirts

Happy new year, everyone!

Sorry about the dearth of posts as of late. It’s been a busy week or so for all of us, what with the holidays and family obligations and all that jazz. Still, that’s no excuse for missing our Monday posting date, so we’ll try extra hard to pick up the slack.

But this time around I want to take a small break from talking about t-shirts and point you all towards the work of the Japanese artist Yanobe Kenji.
