Yes, Adobe released a beta of Photoshop CS3 (apparently they did this a while ago, but I only just found out about it now). Unfortunately for people who don’t have Photoshop CS2, Adobe Production Studio, or Adobe Video Bundle, if you want to get a serial number to unlock the beta, you’re going to have to provide the serial number that you already have from one of those.

It seems to be a Beta for current Adobe users, but I haven’t found the new tools to be dramatically useful for them to launch a new Photoshop except to fix bugs or add new features to current tools.

Huh… sounds like they should have released the bug fixes as a patch (maybe they’ll do that, too). My guess is they’re releasing a new version because of the Intel Macs. CS2 wasn’t built with those in mind, was it?

Didn’t think about that, It’s the best reason so far to take advantage of the core duo processors. And yeah i doubt cs2 was built for the duo processors but you never know, do you ?
