New Shop at Beautiful/Decay

Although this is the first time we’ve blogged about Beautiful/Decay, you’re probably already aware of the veritable trove of quality goods for sale at their store1. What you may not have known is that yesterday, right beneath our noses, perhaps even while we slept, they updated their online store. Those sneaky devils!

Clicky-clicky for an instantaneous and painless journey to Beautiful/Decay’s fancy new shop.

Now, there are people out there who enjoy aimlessly clicking through labyrinthine web sites—constructs which, had they been formulated as architectural blueprints rather than haphazard lines of code, would have issued forth teetering, gnarled masses of wood and steel so abhorrent, and so misshapen, that only the king of darkness himself would dare reside inside them. If you are one of these people, then the new store at Beautiful/Decay is not for you. On the other hand, if you are like me and try to avoid being devoured by such spiraling pits of confusion and despair, you will be happy to hear that Beautiful/Decay’s new store offers more than a modicum of features to help you navigate in an efficient and pleasureable fashion. For example, you are able to do such novel things as sorting their goods by category (e.g. girls’ tees, hoodies, accessories, art, or zines), by brand, or by price; you can also take a look at their most popular items, if that’s what floats your boat.

So, like, totally check it out, dudes. And dudettes. And if you haven’t read the first footnote yet, you should. It’s chock full of information. Information and riboflavin2.

1 And for those of you who are wondering what in the heck a “Beautiful Decay” is, here’s the skinny3: Beautiful/Decay is a magazine that, in their words, “documents the convergence of fine art, design, fashion, graffiti and other relevant forms of art.” More relevant to our purposes, their website features a spiffy store that carries a number of excellent independent t-shirt brands (like Tank Theory, Poketo, Heavy Roatation, and Go Ape, to name just a few) as well as a handful of incredible huge-print shirts that are designed by artists featured in the magazine. Here’s one of my favorites, which I’m offering as an incentive for you to click your way on over and check out the rest of their goods:

Congratulations, Greg! I had faith in you, and I’m not disappointed. Hm… it looks like they’ve stopped carrying Imaginary Foundation. They did used to, didn’t they?
