Impractice Makes Imperfect

Today’s featured site comes straight from Humbolt Park in that windiest of cities, Chicago (Illinois)! “ImPerfect Articles,” it’s called, and two gents by the names of Noah Singer and Mike Andrews run the whole operation. The shop itself boasts a vast array of artists (more than fifty!) whose copious designs span a vast array of classical t-shirt archetypes — everything from “Intricate Geometric Designs” to “Scenes From Nature” to “Words That Make You Stop And Think For Awhile.” It’s a varied and extensive catalogue, so you’ll definitely want to check it out for yourself.

Let’s enter the fray, then, and gander at some designs. I found this next one rather endearing, myself:

Amy Chan
Come, avian comrades! Let us make merry in the suburban underbrush! Art by Amy Chan. Buy it here for $30

Since I’m apparently a nature-lover, here’s another rather woody design from the esteemed Isak Applin:

They call him Isak
You can take the woods with you … so long as you manage to print them on a shirt. Buy it here for $30

The place has gotten an impressive amount of attention from the press, as their About page attests:

ImPerfect Articles has been featured in Time Out Chicago, The Chicago Reader, Chicago Magazine, W Magazine, The New City (Chicago), Flare Magazine, Venus, XL8R, Cargo and The New York Times Magazine.

Pretty snazzy! Head on down and say hello to the folks at ImPerfect Articles if you want some more shirts to look at! And I’m assuming you do, because it would be pretty odd if you read this blog without being something of a t-shirt enthusiast.

Expensiveness: $30
