Its entirely possible that I've actually read part of Moral Politics (I have a politics degree), and I certainly recognise the authors name. It’s unwritten HYA policy not to support charities or organisations that have an obvious political bias, its not really a personal thing, but if I were on the right and my advertising money was going to an organisation that promoted the left I probably wouldn’t be too happy.

Its entirely possible that I’ve actually read part of Moral Politics (I have a politics degree), and I certainly recognise the authors name.

Have you ever read George Lakoff's 'Moral Politics'? It's about U.S. politics, but it presents a reasonably strong case for the funding of (liberal) think tanks instead of donating directly to people in need, even though the latter is the liberal inclination. Also, I do probably undercharge for my image ads by industry standards, because I feel so guilty asking indie design labels for money when I know their ad budgets aren't very big.
