If you don’t know what Bubo is… I bet you’re wondering what Bubo is, besides some sort of strange owl. I wouldn’t want to keep a secret from you, so I’ll reveal everything.
The description of Bubo on Enlcothe pretty much sums up what I would say about it, so…
Bubo was crafted from brass and metal by the god Hephaestus to replicate Athena’s beloved magical owl.
And so the first robotic sidekick flew to the aid of Perseus and into our hearts. Showing unending wisdom and courage, Bubo even fought with the giant Kracken.
By now you’re probably thinking, ‘Wow! I wish I could see a short video clip of Bubo flying to Perseus!’ Well, you are in luck, because I just happen to have found a a short video clip of Bubo flying to Perseus! (This is the best link I can give you… to watch the movie you’re going to have to go into the source code and drag it out, because it won’t load in their player for some reason. Sorry! If you can find a better version I’ll update this post.) Bubo is most intimidating… and heavy. It is made out of metal, after all.
