Greetings, shirt fans. Comin’ atcha straight from Cleveland, Tennessee are Gabe and Jason with today’s featured t-shirt site, Redemption Shirts! This ambitious duo strives to rise above the dismissive yet prevalent “just another t-shirt company” label, infusing their endeavors with, as they describe it, “meaning and purpose.” Noble goals, to be sure, but what matters at the end of the day is the quality and charisma of the ink on your chest. Thankfully, Redemption Shirts does not disappoint:

Here we have Beautiful Mess and Horses, respectively, Redemption’s two shirts that follow the popular “Hey there, stranger, take a seat and deconstruct this image for a spell” mantra in shirt design. Be sure to check out each design’s individual page for some handy background info on the image! While designs like these have their fair share of fans in the shirt world — Beautiful Mess is described as a Redemption Shirts favorite — I prefer shirts that are a bit easier to read, which brings me to my favorite of Gabe’ and Jason’s offerings:

Save Yourself: $10.00
I know artillery isn’t everyone’s bread and butter, but the comic incongruity of a manatee brandishing a rocket launcher works on far too many levels to ignore. Most excellent.
Redemption Shirts print on a variety of shirt brands, but they prefer to use Fruit of the Loom when they can. What really impresses me, though, is their low, low prices — all shirts are under $15.00 and all shipping is $3.50 regardless of order size! Yow! If you’d like to show your support for this frugal franchise via a social network, then be sure to hop on over to their Facebook group or MySpace page.
It’s also worth mentioning that, if you’re keen on getting your design published, RS is holding a design contest until August 1st, 2007. Check it out before it’s too late! Although it’s unlikely that you won’t, since August is, you know, kind of far off.
So don’t delay! Redeem yourself today! Or … you know, something witty along those lines. Just visit Redemption Shirts regardless!
