MyBlogLog

In case you haven’t noticed, we have started running a “Recent Readers” plugin through MyBlogLog that we think is pretty cool. It’s sort of like a social networking site for bloggers and their readers; it will automatically join you to the community of those blogs that you read (or you can do it yourself, and you can always remove yourself from a community you don’t wish to be a part of).

Obviously some of you already have MyBlogLog accounts, but if you don’t and you want to be a part of this and find some cool blogs, you can sign up here. Hopefully we’ll be able to implement MyBlogLog avatars in the comments section, which would be cool!

There probably won’t be many substantive posts this week, since all three of us are super busy with finals this week.

Fantastic Bonanza Free T-Shirt Contest V: Bride of Fantastic Bonanza

April 2007 is gone forever! Never again will we reclaim those precious moments. Or, you know, if this was a bad month, then the moments probably weren’t that precious. Personally, I was not a big fan of April. Too many rashes. The important point is that Fantastic Bonanza is holding another free t-shirt contest, just like we do every month! Yesss.

As we did on the 7th of April, and the 7th of the month before that (March), and so on since time immemorial (approximately), we will now announce the winner of last month’s contest prompt who will shortly recieve a free t-shirt. I mean, that’s the whole point of these contests in the first place. Hopefully, people knew about that. Brace yourselves, now, dudettes and dudemeisters, for last month’s winner and this month’s prompt:

Spreadshirt Movies and Transparent Business Practices

Have you ever wondered what the Spreadshirt office in Pittsburgh looks like? Well, now you can see it for yourself! (It’s a brief movie.) I think the light-hearted and casual way Spreadshirt is making their company more transparent to their community of users with these movies is great. They’re short, fun to watch, and anything but overbearing. I know that Adam Fletcher (who also happens to work at Spreadshirt) is concerned with ‘How Transparent Is too Transparent‘, and I think these movies are a happy medium. If you haven’t yet seen Spreadshirt’s great video about how their shirts are made (with lots of hands!), then you should definitely watch it:

Itty Bitty Ad Space

I’m just writing to inform you that we’re trying out two tiny advertising boxes over on right , under just above all the links the ‘Latest Posts’. They are brought to you by Project Wonderful and are the first time we’ve ever tried making any money (even if it’s just cents) off of this blog. Hopefully we will be able to use the $$$s (note: number of ‘$’s subject to change at any time) to run our own little ads. Maybe we’ll be able to do some donations like Andy at Hide Your Arms, although out of all the tee shirt blogs (okay, he does long sleeves only), I think he has a pretty large readership; he deserves it, though!

Nude No More? That All Depends…

With all this talk of retired Threadless t-shirts, it seems only fitting that we help you find them. It’s not fair to get you salivating and then leave you with no recourse to sate your appetite for tees! The best places I can think of to begin looking for retired Threadless designs would be eBay or Rethreaded, a forum for trading t-shirts primarily from Threadless, but also from Oddica and others.

Rethreaded

Since you’ve already seen Top Ten reTired Threadless Tees lisTs from my co-conspirators, John and Greg, I’d like to take this opportunity to present my own:
