Fantastic Blognanza!

Yackfou occupy a special place in my heart, ever since I won their t-shirt giveaway contest at Shirt2, an awesome t-shirt shop directory and blog. I didn’t even know I had one, and then I got a package in the mail from Germany! It was pretty awesome. But what’s potentially even more awesome (especially for you, dear reader) is that Yackfou has relaunched there website with some cool new site features and lots of new gear, including t-shirts and hoodies!

A lot of the new designs at Yackfou remind me of this Toothpaste for Dinner webcomic, mostly because many of them are very geometrical. They’re part of a ‘Party On/Off’ series of designs, and the strong colorways (especially of the ‘Party ON’s in the series) combined with relatively simple designs make them winners in my book!

Although I have to admit that pyramids are pretty exciting, I honestly just like circles more. I don’t know what it is (maybe it’s their roundness!) but circles are simply enticing. In their seeming innocence, they attain an enigmatic aura of sorts. On this shirt, those normally aloof circles are letting loose in a polka-dot-esque orgy reminiscent of confetti. Which would make this, as I believe it is intended, a perfect shirt to wear to a party.

Party OFF Kugel (available in black and heather gray) NEW! at Yackfou

Yep, circles again. You know how I feel about them. The ‘Party OFF’ counterpart to the ‘Party ON’ immediately above, even though not quite as party-tastic, is still pretty great because gold and black is always a killer combination.

So yeah, definitely check out Yackfou’s new offerings (even if they’re out of your price range, like they are mine), because they look really pretty!
