Your Eyes Lie print what in some ways are relatively simple designs, but that’s part of what makes them cool. They stick to only black and white tees, but what they do to a white t-shirt is lovely. But I’m not being entirely truthful: Your Eyes Lie is a collective of artists, so when I speak of ‘they’, I’m actually talking about several distinct individuals who probably aren’t collaborating on any one design. Besides generally being pretty cool, many of their tees are on sale for £10 and they have a bunch of new releases.
Dinogirl NEW! at Your Eyes Lie
Quite a nice pastiche, a young girl stretches amidst giant flowers and raging dinosaurs. Why? Hell if I know. If you’re into things that makes sense, I guess avoid this tee. But if you can embrace the contradictions of the postmodern condition, then you’re in luck.
Scary Children at Your Eyes Lie
What is with these kids? Are they from a movie? Either way, they look… discontent. But with what? I guess it doesn’t really matter in the end, because people will probably think you’re the one who’s crazy (crazy cool?) for wearing this t-shirt.

Yeah, they have lots of really good designs, I just was not impressed with the quality of their shirts. Maybe they are better now, let’s hope so. At least the prices have come down.
Yeah, but they aren’t so good at the service side of things. If you email them when things go wrong, you might get one email back but then they vanish off the face of the earth…..
