Hold your horses, shirt fans—there’s still plenty of holiday shirt-fun to be had! Beautiful/Decay’s online apparel shop recently released some new t-shirts and hoodies as part of it’s new Holiday Apparel line, and just in the nick of time (St. Nick?). Let the phantasmagoria begin!

Eat More at Beautiful/Decay: $29.95

First up is Skwak’s Eat More, featuring what he describes as “a jumbled mass of Koogai monsters screaming in agony and self-disgust.” The shirt’s info page goes on to explain the Koogai, which are essentially a representation of contemporary culture: a culture that, as Skwak sees it, seems invested in “vomiting” on itself ecologically, socially, and intellectually. Skwak might as well use this unsettling menagerie to comment on the schizophrenia of post-modernism while he’s at it—the design is certainly frenzied enough!

Pyramid at Beautiful/Decay: $29.95

This next shirt is just one in Beautiful/Decay’s new line of shirts: Aya Kato + Beautiful/Decay. I have to say, Kato’s ghostly pyramid among the clouds reminds me of Silent Weapon, an earlier t-shirt release from the B/D Artist Series. Beautiful/Decay certainly has a talent for attracting artists who apparently think in dreams—looks like they’ve snared another one with Aya Kato!

Fletcher Hoodie at Beautiful/Decay: $83.93

Last but not least is Fletcher Hoodie, one of four new reversible hoodies that B/D would like you to see. This particular design comes to you courtesy of the durable duo dubbed Sentimental Soy Cheese. Rest assured that these hoodies are crafted to be worn both inside and out—if only one could determine which is which before it’s too late! Wauugh! Customized embroidery and zipper pull = B/D probably cares quite a bit about making sure their hoodies do not disappoint! Admittedly, that’s a steep price tag, but do not forget that you are pretty much paying for two hoodies in one, here.
