Good News on the SEIBEI/Goodie Two Shoes Front

Once they sell out of the dinosaur design by Goodie Two Shoes in their test market stores, Hot Topic will not be ordering any more of this design! Hurray! Another retailer might pick it up… but hopefully not. Congratulations, David!

¡Viva Ortegacy!

Even with however many years of Spanish courses under my belt, I still couldn’t manage to embellish that title, aside from an upside-down exclamation point. ¡Que lástima!

Spanish proficient or no, I still know me a good t-shirt store when me sees it. Such is the case with David Ortega’s online textile wares, located both at his personal site as well as at the legendary Etsy. Two stores! Two of them!

The shirt I was originally going to profile for y’all has since been prescribed uncomfortable phallic connotations by my trashy brain, so I’ll instead point your attention to something else:

Clouded at Viva Ortegacy: $20.00

Mr. Ortega offers precious little information about this tee except to say that it was seen in the “BOSTON GLOBE”. Well, now I’m curious as to what kind of article featured said shirt, but alas, the powers of imagination will have to do. For now, I’ll settle for observing the intricate exchange between electricity, water, and the artificial intelligence that depends on both.

I mention this one primarily for two reasons. The first is that it contributes fittingly to the wealth of nautical shirts that permeate the interwaves. The second is that, now that I’ve been introduced to the possibility of a Lobster Fighting Style, I must determine whether it exists. Imagine felling your foes with crushing claws as you sound the haunting trill of an enraged lobster.

Some of the shirts listed on David Ortega’s personal website are sold out, so make sure you visit his Etsy Account to see if they might be there instead.
