I Heart T-Shirts is the new Facebook page everybody’s talking about! It’s taking the world by storm! It’s revolutionizing the internet! And it mows your lawn, and it picks up the kids from school. It gets rid of unwanted facial hair; it gets rid of embarrassing age spots. It delivers a pizza and it lengthens, and it strengthens, and it finds that slipper that’s been at large under the chaise lounge for several weeks!
So maybe I’ve been hyperbolizing… a little bit. But I kid you not, I Heart T-Shirts is a pretty slick Facebook page! It’s got what you’d expect, like lists of online t-shirt stores and t-shirt blogs. But these lists look really nice and include the favicons from the respective sites, so it’s pretty!
It also makes good use of Facebook’s multimedia features, and there’s still room to utilize these features more thoroughly. Right now there are only two videos, and no pictures, but this could be a good venue for t-shirt shops to display their wares. They’ll probably have to be carefully moderated, though, to prevent spamming. Maybe a rule like 1 image/week 1 movie/month could help? Cory, who made the page, has also been uploading t-shirt news to the ‘Posted Items’ section of the page, which provides a nice snapshot view of three news items, replete with thumbnail images.
But wait, there’s more! I Heart T-Shirts is going to have weekly giveaways! To kick things off, one random fan will win a $25 Threadless gift certificate on Sunday, May 11. So become a fan of I Heart T-Shirts today for your chance to win! Don’t delay. Or else.
Bonanza Cadets, do you enjoy t-shirts from Japan on the cheap? Old friend Tokyo Art Beat has you covered!
From now until the end of May, all Tokyo Art Beat shirts are on sale—approximately one-third cheaper than their usual ¥3800. This would have been a good opportunity for minimalists and 8-bit nostalgics to nab the poignantly pixelated Tokyo Invaders…
… but it’s Sold Out! Yes, these designs are fleeing fast. You’ll just have to hop over to TAB’s shop and see what’s still on the shelves before it’s too late!
Link: [Tokyo Art Beat]
Expensiveness: ¥2500, approximately 33% off
Should You Hurry: The sale extends until the end of May, but a lot of sizes are already gone! I wouldn’t delay if I were you.
Check it out, Fox 25 interviewed me at ROFLCon and then put the interview up on their website! The camera dude was asking me about the shirt I was wearing, AVE Mizar.
Too bad when I mention ‘Fantastic Bonanza’ has gotten cut from it… but whatever. Check out the speech bubble from Ji Lee’s Bubble Project in the background!
‘We have talks. We just brainstorm things.’ Yesssss…
