Fuel Your Creativity has a neat little feature today about 50 inspiring logos that will… well, inspire you. I mention it here because one of the logos they’ve featured is that of Kotton Designshirts, which I wrote about here a little while back.
They’re not kidding about the inspiration bit! Now I kind of want to redesign the Fantastic Bonanza logo.

Do you have any ideas about the direction you’d want to take it in, even if you don’t feel like you could pull it off, after being inspired by that list?
i don’t know, your logo is like mine, just text for the time being. I would turn to the guys at 99designs.com - they have made some pretty sweet logos and actually seem to have talent. But I think some kind of retro/pop style logo would best fit you - going by your shirt designs.
We used to have like… stars and crap. But that looked kind of bad. As for 99designs, it looks like the designers aren’t getting paid enough to do anything besides a relatively simple type treatment and/or a graphic directly related to the name, so I don’t think it’s going to be right for us. But we can’t afford to pay for an upper-tier designer right now, either.
you could always hold a small contest - in exchange for shirt credits or ad space or something.
I’ve thought of that, actually… but what to do if we legitimately don’t like any of the submissions? It’s pretty lame to hold a contest and then say, ‘Just kidding! You all suck!’ So… there’s that. Maybe Greg is working on a new logo right now! That would be pretty cool.
For the record folks, I have not started working on a new logo. But… uh… maybe I will in the future?
