Kosher Ham is a relatively new t-shirt company, straight outta Chicago. All three of us Bonanziers are from Wilmette, which is just a little to the north! So hurray for geographical coincidences! In high school, I would fence people from the high school of Kosher Ham founder Jeremy Bloom. That means we’re basically pretty tight. But you probably came here to find some sweet indie t-shirts, not to read about this kind of crap…
This tee is so great because of its multivalence. You can presume at least two things about the wearer: they’re probably Jewish (what with the noshing and the matzos), and they probably like to indulge in a certain activity that I’m not going to mention here. You know what I’m talking about. I recommend eating your matzoh with a little bit of butter, sprinkled with salt, especially if you’re a first-time matzoh ingester.
I’m more of a 24-hour nosher myself… but I think that comes with the territory. Oh, and they have plenty of other tees that will appeal not only to the Jew first, but to the Greek also.

Mustache & Friends! We’re big fans of the mustachio. You should know that. So when there appears, like a lightning bolt forged by the single-eyed cyclopes, only now hurled by Zeus of the Aegis, we rejoice with merry festivals of food and drink, song and dance. And then we write blog posts. Behold… the Batstachio!
Choosing a single favorite tee from Mustache & Friends takes a stiff, hairy upper lip. Which is why I can’t choose just one. I can’t decide between Ahoy and Libre!
Maybe it’s the timeless connection between sailors and facial hair, or the impracticality of a hairy anchor… but this large print is really charming. I mean, if I saw somebody wearing this shirt I’d want to be their friend. Like, their best friend. Because I definitely pick all of my friends based on how cool their t-shirts are.
Libre works so well, in my opinion, because of how subtly the mustache is incorporated into the design. If you weren’t looking for it, it would be easy to miss the neatly-trimmed moustache among the other ornaments on the skull.
