In case you haven’t noticed, we have started running a “Recent Readers” plugin through MyBlogLog that we think is pretty cool. It’s sort of like a social networking site for bloggers and their readers; it will automatically join you to the community of those blogs that you read (or you can do it yourself, and you can always remove yourself from a community you don’t wish to be a part of).
Obviously some of you already have MyBlogLog accounts, but if you don’t and you want to be a part of this and find some cool blogs, you can sign up here. Hopefully we’ll be able to implement MyBlogLog avatars in the comments section, which would be cool!
There probably won’t be many substantive posts this week, since all three of us are super busy with finals this week.
I’m just writing to inform you that we’re trying out two tiny advertising boxes over on right , under just above all the links the ‘Latest Posts’. They are brought to you by Project Wonderful and are the first time we’ve ever tried making any money (even if it’s just cents) off of this blog. Hopefully we will be able to use the $$$s (note: number of ‘$’s subject to change at any time) to run our own little ads. Maybe we’ll be able to do some donations like Andy at Hide Your Arms, although out of all the tee shirt blogs (okay, he does long sleeves only), I think he has a pretty large readership; he deserves it, though!
Wow, I can’t believe I’ve neglected to blog about this for so long. T Junction is a blog started by Adam Fletcher, of HipHipUK fame, with the goal of creating a centralized database of all things t-shirt-price-reducing (i.e., coupons, sales, discounts, codes, promotions, etc.). With regular contributions from HipHipUK, Hide Your Arms, Fantastic Blognanza, ‘The’ Jason Fu, and more (I know I’ve seen at least one post from Tshirt Island), most online t-shirt sales should be covered. Most, however, is not good enough!
This is where you come in: every time T Junction features a sale/coupon code/whatever contributed by you (all you have to do is email it to hiphipuk(removethisxxxxxx) @ googlemail.com, and it will get taken care of), you get entered into a monthly Swag Bag drawing (the content on that page is a teensy bit out of date - don’t worry). Yes, you heard right - the Swag Bag, which will contain all sorts of nifty stuff, like Threadless coupons, t-shirts, and other t-shirt-related goods. So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to T Junction, grab yourself some sweet discounted tees (there are lots!), and contribute some info that isn’t up there yet!
Rangga over at Tshirt Island unearthed this movie presented by Jeffrey and Jake of Threadless and skinnyCorp at CommunityNext. It’s pretty sweet!
There has been some, admittedly fairly minor, controversy down in the comments of the Josh Spear entry about the Monsieur T. Spring/Summer ‘07 Preview. Basically, it amounts to whether their Tribute to Mondrian is a blatant rip-off. I championed Monsieur T., since I believe that although the shirt is definitely in Mondrian’s unmistakable style, it is not a copy of his work.

So, what do you think? Rip-off or legitimate?
P.S. If you missed our own preview of Monsieur T.’s spring/summer ‘07 line… well, here it is.
I’d like to take a moment to point out two recent additions to the blogroll.
First, we have the webcomic Pixel, by Chris Dlugosz. It sort of reminds me of Dinosaur Comics in its content, albeit more absurdist. There’s also quite a bit of self-reference and recursion. So it’s got that going for it.
Also, there’s the Language Log. On the off chance that you are interested in language and linguistics and you haven’t already come across this blog, I’m throwing the link out there so you can go check it out. It’s frequently updated, always interesting, and perfectly accessible, even if you have no background in linguistics. Give it a look.

Potentially one-upping the Enclothe blog in terms of meta-blogging, or possibly just take this whole thing to a ridiculous extreme, I’m blogging about how nice Derek was when he blogged about us.
He had super-nice things to say about us! But even more importantly, the Enclothe blog is a regularly updated site for exclusive sneak peaks of upcoming Enclothe shirts, rare insights into the artistic process involved in creating a t-shirt, and general t-shirt-related goodness. Also, if you couldn’t tell by the other posts I’ve written about Enclothe, I really like his t-shirts!
