Update Update!

Assuming that this post goes up without any problems, then I think I have successfully updated Wordpress! What does this mean for you? Well, not much, really. The site should look and act pretty much the same as before. I think it’s a tad faster, though! Also, you can’t see it, but behind the scenes everything looks entirely different. It’s really quite crazy.

WP Update

Our Wordpress installation is a bit out of date, so I’m going to try and upgrade it this weekend. If you notice funky things going on with the site tomorrow, don’t worry: I am just messing around with Important Things. Assuming that everything does not crash and burn and splinter into a million itty-bitty horrible little shards, we should be good and ready to go in time for TWiTS on Sunday.

Greatest Product Pic Ever

Joe was perusing the wares of Wire & Twine the other day and passed along a link to their Enjoy this Beautiful Day shirt. Us Bonanziers don’t normally swoon over text-exclusive designs, but this seriously amazing product pic nullifies all of that.

Enjoy this Beautiful Day at Wire & Twine: $20.00

I really can’t comment further. Awesome.

Link: [Enjoy this Beautiful Day at Wire & Twine]
Expensiveness: $20.00

Self-referential addendum: Joe and Greg are going to be rocking ROFLCon this weekend. I will not because I abhor laughter and floors! If you happen to be in the area, give ‘em a holler. Give ‘em a holler and a dollar. (Many dollars, preferably.)

Updated: Vector Design Tutorials

I’ve been compiling the vector design tutorials from GoMediaZine in one big, well-organized, bullet-pointed list here, and I’ve just updated it because Go Media have just posted another tutorial on creating intricate patterns in Illustrator. It’s pretty nifty, so you should check it out!

Tons of Awesome Indie T-Shirt Shops Added to Our Blogroll!

Apparently we haven’t really updated our blogroll for… quite a long time. I went through Fantastic Blognanza’s archive of posts all the way back to June, 2007. That’s over 150 posts about indie t-shirts! That’s a lot of posts, and quite a lot of t-shirts. You should probably take a moment, and maybe even a deep breath, to bask in the warmth of so many links to so many quality t-shirt shops (because we wouldn’t be linking to them if they didn’t deliver high quality tees!). You might even want to, you know, take a look at some of them. That is why we put them there, after all.

And we even have independent t-shirt shops for almost every letter of the alphabet! The only ones missing are ‘G’, ‘V’, ‘X’, and ‘Z’! The last three I can understand, but ‘G’? Come on, indie tee lovers: start a t-shirt label starting in ‘G’, then send me an email! Or send me an email about one that already exists. I mean, either way. It’s cool if you don’t want to take that kind of initiative.

The Most T-Shirt-Lovingest State in the Union?

California: The Most T-Shirt-Lovingest State in the Union!
Darker is better!

Why, it’s California! Based on the breakdown of the readers of Fantastic Blognanza, at least. So you better step it up, other states! Especially you, Wyoming. And you, North Dakota. You’re the two least t-shirt-lovingest states. Having a small population is no excuse!

Technical Difficulties

We had some troubles with the Wordpress upgrade, so I reverted everything to the way it was before the upgrade.

So the good news is that I believe the site works fine. The bad news is that if you posted a comment on the site either yesterday or today, it disappeared into the shimmering aether of Internet, floating amidst a translucent sea of forgotten words, images, numbers, letters, zeroes, and ones.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
