Give Us a Kiss NEW! at SEIBEI
Yikes! What a creepy… hand-face monster thing. But don’t be alarmed by its appearance! It just wants to make love to you… beckoning you to come closer to its eyes… its fingers… Um… yeah. Sorry.
This t-shirt, by the inimitable David Murray of SEIBEI, has an interesting back-story. It was originally submitted to Threadless for the Cornelius Loves design competition, but didn’t score very well. So he printed it himself! While he was at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago (where Threadless happens to be located and where we Bonanziers are from), one of the Threadless Jakes (whom you see in the picture above!) wandered over to David’s stall and liked Give Us a Kiss so much he bought one for himself! How ironic.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of SEIBEI’s new releases, including new colorways of Thirsty for Blood, Hungry for Tacos and Dinosaur Checkerboard, as well as two completely new designs:

As promised, SEIBEI has returned from hiatus—with a new website! (Well, almost… you won’t be able to actually order anything until tomorrow, Wednesday, May 30th, at about noon.) And, if I may say so myself, it looks pretty awesome! You should definitely head on over there to check it out; and when you’re in the mood for shopping, you can use coupon code ‘fanblog’ during checkout for 10% off your entire order. Awesome!
Apart from their new website (which is monster-ful, as you can see for yourself), the SEIBEI shop is back in action with some SEIBEI classics like Kitten Apocalypse and Intramural Zombie Hunter, some recently released merchandise like the Hungry Eye hoodie, as well as some great new things!
That’s just about enough old things… time for the new! Continue reading ‘New Seibei Site Launches! And 10% Off! Sweet!’
Because David, SEIBEI’s artistic director and printer, is moving, SEIBEI will be temporarily closed.

SEIBEI will be taking a brief break for the second half of May. In order to make sure all of [their] bases are covered, NO INTRAMURAL ZOMBIE HUNTER SHIRT ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 2ND. NO REGULAR SHIRT ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 10TH. [They] will resume operation in the third week in May, after [they've] moved up to Hyde Park, and Intramural Zombie Hunter production should be back in full force soon after that.
So if you’ve been eyeing any of their awesome designs, you have until early May! If you want to get the full scoop, you can read about it on the SEIBEI blog.
That’s right, David Murray is at it again. This time around, he’s released two more tees (both printed on American Apparel). The first, MASH, looks like this:

If you’re either a big t-shirt nerd or a pop culture nerd (or both), you’ll know that this is playing off of Experimental Jetset’s John & Paul & Ringo & George shirt. I knew this because I’m a big t-shirt nerd… Regardless, I think it’s funny.
The second, Thirsty for Blood, Hungry for Tacos, looks like this:

Exciting news! Indie Threads, the social networking site for independent t-shirt companies and t-shirt fans that has an active blog and active forums, which I’ve written about before, has just launched their own store! It currently features shirts from Fantastic Bonanza, Quixotic Clothing, and Seibei. There’s even a colorway for Seibei’s Sandwich Dinosaur t-shirt that is exclusive to Indie Threads. Check it out!
