Long time readers will know that I have a thingforpatterns, so it should come as no surprise that I find myself enamored to this t-shirt from Sub Urban Riot.
Ram Ram, like all of Sub Urban Riot’s tees, is printed on their 100% cotton custom-cut slim-fit tees. (You can read more about the cut of their shirts in my in-hand review of Ruins.)
Looking at the ram’s head on this t-shirt design, you might feel yourself reminded of summer, or watermelon, or picnics… that’s because the pattern is a green gingham, which is a popular pattern for tablecloths, especially the nylon kind made for outdoors. Usually those come in red, but there are plenty of green ones as well.
The man on the rocket powered bicycle is right! Buy any hoodie at Sub Urban Riot at its regular price, and get a free t-shirt of your choice! Just specify which t-shirt you’d like in the ‘comments’ field at checkout. Might I suggest the following combo?
No, I don’t have a Lamborghini… but I do think this t-shirt and hoodie combination would look particularly killer together, especially because they have the same colors in their respective designs.
SubUrban Riot make some quality tees (in addition to other garments!), and this sale at SubUrban Riot makes loading up on some of their cloudsoft cotton all the more appealing. Deal ends 12/30!
I think… I think I might have a thing for sailing ships. I don’t know whether it’s the way their prows cut through the waves or the way their masts tower defiantly over the deep… but I find them irresistible. And that’s why Pirate Riot is my favorite of the new releases (including t-shirts for men and women, hoodies, and dresses - an awesome selection!) at Sub Urban Riot.
If you’re looking for quality in your pirate ship t-shirts, look no further (as attested in my in-hand review of Sub Urban Riot from April). Both their garments and prints are excellent and show an exquisite attention to detail. The color transition in the print looks fantastic (check out this ridiculously huge close-up image)!
Sub Surban Riot, a fairly new outfit based out of Venice, California, produce some high-quality t-shirts, my personal favorite being Ruins. Lots of crumbling stone buildings are featured here: the Acropolis, Stonehenge, the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (not as much a ruin as the others), one that might be the Maison Carrée, and two that I don’t recognize.
The shirt easily lives up to their claim of using ‘cloudsoft cotton’ even under close scrutiny; it feels both slightly softer and smoother than American Apparel. The seams look and feel very sturdy as well, so I am not worried in the least that this tee will have a short lifespan. I really like the cut of their blanks as well (which are custom-made): the cut is a bit slimmer than American Apparel, and the sleeves are a little shorter and tighter. Basically, the cut is perfect for me.
